Pizza Cut and Glue Activity
"Build Your Own Pizza! Cut and Glue Fun" has a big round pizza base, labeled "Pizza base," drawn with a red sauce edge and a layer of shredded yellow cheese. A dashed line marked "Cutting zone" separates it from the toppings to cut out: eight pepperoni slices, mushrooms, black olives, green pepper pieces and four sausages. Each group is labeled.
Children cut out the toppings and glue them on to design their own pizza, deciding how many of each to use. It's useful for scissor practice, counting and sorting, and for talking about favorite toppings in a preschool or kindergarten class.
For a pizza that adds pineapple and shredded cheese toppings, see Make Your Own Pizza.
