Winter wear - complete the names

"Winter Wear: Complete the Names!" is a spelling worksheet under a snowy flag banner. Seven numbered boxes with snowflake corners show a striped knit hat with a pom-pom, a patterned scarf, red mittens, a green puffy jacket, a blue cable-knit sweater, yellow boots and pink earmuffs. Each name is printed with a letter or two missing.

Children say what each item is and fill in the missing letters. It practices spelling, clothing vocabulary and letter-sound matching, and it fits a winter or weather unit in kindergarten and first grade.
