Fill the Jar with Black Color Things

A large empty glass jar with a black lid and the word BLACK beside it fills the top of this "Fill the Jar" sheet. Below the jar, six black pictures sit in a cutting grid: a bat, a sitting cat, a high-top sneaker, a top hat, a small car and a baseball cap.

Kids cut out each picture along the dashed lines and glue it inside the jar, saying the color as they go. It practices recognizing black, naming everyday objects and cutting on straight lines, and it suits preschool and kindergarten.
