Fill the Jar with Brown Color Things

A large empty glass jar with a brown lid and the word BROWN beside it fills the top of this "Fill the Jar" sheet. Six brown pictures wait below in a cutting grid: a smiling teddy bear, a chocolate bar with a face, an owl on a branch, a coconut, a log with a sprout and a tote bag with a shoulder strap.

Children cut out each picture along the dashed lines and glue it inside the jar while naming the color. It practices recognizing brown, naming familiar objects and cutting on straight lines, and it suits preschool and kindergarten.

Each jar in the series has its own color. See also the Black, Orange and Pink jars.
