Circle Shape Activity

A large circle takes up most of this page, with a smiling yellow circle and the word "Circle" at the top. Along the bottom, dashed lines divide six round pictures to cut out: a smiling sun, a car tire, a life ring, a chocolate-chip cookie, a globe with a face and a pizza.

Children cut out the pictures and glue them inside the big circle, collecting everyday things that are round. It teaches shape recognition, helps children notice shapes in the world around them and gives scissor practice, which suits preschool and kindergarten.
