Oval Shape Activity

A smiling yellow oval with the word "Oval" sits at the top of a big circle that fills most of the page. Along the bottom, dashed lines divide six oval pictures to cut out: a watermelon, an egg standing on the grass, a red balloon, an American football, a bar of soap and a wrapped caramel toffee.

Children cut out the pictures and glue them inside the circle, finding oval shapes in everyday things. It practices telling an oval from a circle, along with scissor skills, and suits preschool and kindergarten.
