Rectangle Shape Activity

A smiling orange rectangle with the word "Rectangle" sits at the top of a big circle that fills most of the page. Along the bottom, dashed lines divide six rectangular pictures to cut out: a chocolate bar, an envelope with a pen, a diary with a lock, a framed family photo, a blue front door with a plant and a smartphone.

Children cut out the pictures and glue them inside the circle, spotting rectangles in everyday objects. It builds shape recognition and scissor skills and suits preschool and kindergarten.

More shapes in this set: Circle, Diamond, Oval, Square and Triangle.
