Color Sorting Activities

Three simple cut-and-paste series for learning colors. In Fill the Jar, children cut out pictures in one color and glue them inside a jar with a matching lid, with a sheet for each color from red and blue to black and white. Fill the Bowl does the same with fruits and vegetables.

Match the Colors raises the challenge a little: children read a color word on a cake, a pizza, a caterpillar or a row of windows, then glue on the picture that matches. Together the series practices naming colors, reading color words, sorting and cutting along straight lines.
